History was created in the 23rd match of the Delhi Premier League on Saturday between South Delhi and North Delhi. 23-year-old Priyansh Arya became the latest batter to hit 6 sixes in an over of T20 cricket. The first-ever batter to achieve this feat was Yuvraj Singh against England during the 2007 T20 World Cup.
The historic incident occurred in the 13th over bowled by left-arm spinner Manan Bharadwaj. The first two sixes were carted straight down the ground for two huge sixes. In the third ball of the over Priyansh Arya came down the track and hit the ball straight over the sightscreen for a huge six.

Priyansh Arya and Ayush Badoni flay opposition bowlers
Sarthak Ray was the first man out after scoring 11 runs from 11 balls before being dismissed by Siddhartha Solanki. It was then complete carnage as Ayush Badoni and Priyansh Arya added 286 runs for the 2nd wicket in 99 balls.
Both batters went for the leather as they spared none of the opposition bowlers. Both batters went on to score centuries as the runs continued to flow. South Delhi became the first team to post 300 runs on the board in a T20 match as they ended with 308 runs on the board.
Priyansh Arya was out for 120 runs from a mere 50 balls with 10 fours and 10 sixes. Ayush Badoni meanwhile, scored 165 runs from 55 balls with a strike rate of 300 and hit 8 fours and 19 sixes.
The best bowler for North Delhi was Siddhartha Solanki with 3 wickets. Pranshu Vijrayan was the next best bowler with 2 wickets from his 4 overs. South Delhi are second in the table while North Delhi are 4th and if the North Delhi side wins the game on Saturday a new history will be made.
