Thibaut Courtios to return for Belgium
The veteran goalkeeper was unable to participate in Euro 2024 due to rumours regarding differences with former national team coach Domenico Tedesco. “I missed playing for Belgium… it’s been one year and a half, now I am ready,” Courtois told Koora Break with Rio Ferdinand.
“It was a mix of everything. Then I got injured for a year and a half, then I was on the bench. I missed playing for my country, but I will be back again,” he added.
Looking ahead, the Belgium national team is set to compete against Ukraine in the Nations League playoffs, with matches scheduled for March 20 and 23.
