Victor Boniface was in an interview where he was asked about his experience of playing for top European leagues. The star player claimed that he would rather play in the German or Spanish league than in the English Premier League. His statement has stirred controversy among the English Premier League followers.
When asked about him getting a potential Premier League transfer, Victor preferred he would not opt it. He instead went to stay in Germany or have a career in Spain. "Premier League transfer? No... I don't really like the Premier League. I prefer Spanish or German football," said Victor.
When asked his preference on the languages, he claimed to speak with his teammates in English. He further added that some of his teammates like Nathan Tella attend German classes. He claimed to not have time to learn German. He wished his teammate luck as he found it to be a difficult language.

"Yeah, we speak English, but some of my teammates, like Nathan (Tella), attends German classes, but I don’t really have the time. The language is very difficult, but I wish him all the best. No worries, when it’s time to translate, he’ll help me," added Victor Boniface who hoped to use his teammate as a transaltor.
Victor was brought by Leverkusen in the 2023 season. He turned out to be good for them in their insane campaign where they went on to win the Bundesliga without dropping a game. Since then, he has come to the notice of the fabs. His statement has caused mixed opinions from the fans.
Boniface was asked on his preferences to learn German and Spanish. He preferred to learn Spanish over German. Victor wished to be a part of La Liga one day. "If it’s Spanish, I want to learn Spanish, but German? Not so much. I’d love to play in Spain someday," added Victor. Despite getting big offers, he chose to stay with Bayer for the 2024/25 season.
