Reports: Manchester United set to announce Ruben Amorim as new manager later today

Ruben Amorim's transfer to Manchester United is finalized, according to Sporting Lisbon. It's believed that a formal agreement regarding Amorim's conditions and departure date from Sporting Lisbon for Manchester United is approaching and may be revealed later today.

Amorim staying at Sporting for an additional three matches (against Estrela, Manchester City, and Braga) and then leaving after November 10—during the international break—is one of the options being discussed. After standing hard against his 30-day notice period, Sporting has already accepted that Amorim would go due to his release clause, but they are determined to make sure his exit is also on their terms. 

As talks with Lisbon regarding Manchester United's attempt to find Erik ten Hag's replacement continue, key players from the club are in Portugal. Sky Sports News is aware that the main topic of discussion is still the backroom personnel Amorim could wish to bring to Old Trafford. 

In exchange for each of the three coaches Ruben Amorim wishes to bring to Manchester United, Sporting is requesting that United pay £4.15 million to allow Amorim to depart right away. Jorge Vital, the goalkeeping coach, Adelio Candido, and Carlos Fernandes are the coaches.
