Reports: FC Barcelona look to sign Alejandro Grimaldo next summer

According to Nacional Cat, Alejandro Grimaldo, a current player for Bayer Leverkusen, has expressed a wish to rejoin Camp Nou, where he started his professional life at La Masía before looking for options at other clubs.

Alejandro Grimaldo, a former reserve team captain and FC Barcelona youth squad trainer, never made his first team debut. As a result, he moved to Benfica, where he enjoyed a prosperous career as an attacking left-back. He is among the finest in the world for his position thanks to his exploits in Portugal and Germany. His move to Bayer Leverkusen led to an incredible season in which the team won the Bundesliga as well as the DFB Pokal and lost just one game during the UEFA Europa League final.

Can Alejandro Grimaldo join FC Barcelona next summer?
