Piers Morgan has again attacked Erik ten Hag, the manager of Manchester United, saying he 'doesn't know how to handle world class players'.

After Ten Hag's contentious 2022 interview with Cristiano Ronaldo, in which he claimed the Dutchman didn't respect him and was trying to have him fired from the team, Morgan has been critical of Ten Hag on several occasions. A few weeks later, Ronaldo's contract was finally cancelled by mutual consent, and he joined Al-Nassr of the Saudi Pro League, where he has made 58 appearances and scored 52 goals.

Ten Hag and Jadon Sancho also fell out, with the latter accusing the former of lying in public when the manager revealed that he had benched Sancho for an Arsenal match because of "his performances in training".

Sancho refused to offer an apology to Ten Hag, which led to his suspension and loan back to Borussia Dortmund in January. After playing brilliantly in Dortmund's 1-0 victory over PSG in the Champions League semi final first leg, the winger appears to be returning to his peak at the club.

With twelve dribbles, Sancho became the most prolific Englishman in UEFA Champions League history. Lionel Messi had been the previous player to complete more than twelve in a semifinal during 2008. Morgan also attacked Ten Hag on social media in response to Sancho's performance.

What did the journalist say about Erik Ten Hag and Manchester United

The English journalist wrote, "The fact that Ronaldo and now Sancho are playing brilliantly away from United, and Rashford is struggling while still with them, suggests the real problem at the club isn't 'difficult' world class players but a manager who doesn't know how to handle them."

He added, "His body language is like the player Man Utd bought. You can tell a lot from body language and he wants to take people on and play. He certainly looks rejuvenated. It is confidence, he has his mojo back. He is in an environment where he is liked and he looks like a different footballer."
