Bosursia Dortmund played Paris Saint-Germain in the 1st leg semi-final of the UEFA Champions League at the Signal Iduna Park on Wednesday. The home side after beating Atletico Madrid qualified for the last four and on the other hand PSG made a excellent comeback against FC Barcelona to qualify. The game was end to end though the German side had the best chance in the first half as Marcel Sabitzer was denied by Gianluigi Donnarumma. Niclas Fullkrug opened the scoring after an amazing long ball from Nico Schlotterbeck that was sloted in by the German striker. Sabitzer again had the chance but his powerful volley was saved by the Italian keeper.
In the second half of the game the visitors started the pressure with Kylian Mbappe getting lot more involved in the game as the French superstar was denied by the post and similarly Achraf Hakimi also striking the rebound ball also gets in the side of the bar. However the home side had their chances of sealing the game but failed with the final scoreline being 1-0.

Kobel had a decent game as he was not tested much by the PSG attackers, he was lucky twice after the ball struck the bar twice in the game.

The right back had good time against Nuno Mendes and Barcola in the wings as he won most of the battles and did not let them create any kind problems.

Hummels was excellent at the centre back for the side used all his experience to not let go Mbappe and other attackers through him and made some good blocks as well
Nico Schlotterbeck-7.5
Schlotterbeck was excellent in the defensive roles closed down Mbappe and Dembele well and did give him much space and maintained the shape well,delivered an excellent long ball for Fullkrug as the striker scored in the first half.
Ian Maatsen-7
Maasten was brilliant in the night was more involved in the first half of the game than the second well marked Dembele in the wings and had a good linkup play with Adeyemi.
Marcel Sabitzer-8
The Austrian was brilliant in the middle of the park as he controlled the gaeme for the side and delivered the runs from behind inside the box was denied twice by the PSG shot-stopper. Excellent in the defensive third for the side as well made some vital interceptions in the midfield.

The former Liverpool man used all his experience in his defensive midfielders role as he played as a leader in the middle of the park, made some harsh tackles neutrilized the runs of Dembele and Vitinha in the middle.
Jadon Sancho-8.5
The former Manchester United winger had an amazing game as he made 11 successful dribbles which is the most by any player. He created problems for Nuno Mendes with his dancing feet.
Julian Brandt-6
Brandt was decent in the game he had the chance of making the score 2-0 after an excellent through ball by Sancho but he failed.
Karim Adeyemi-7
The winger was excellent all over the game as he made times difficult for Hakimi at the back and also helped in linking up with Maasten in defence.
Niclas Fullkrug-7.5
The German striker proved to be the difference maker for the side as he was silent untill he scored, was much more involved in the second half had two chances but failed to capitalise otherwise could have scored a hattrick.

The Portuguese was decent in the night had tough times in the middle of the park, however was the good than his other two midfield partners. Tried creating some good balls in the attack.

Dembele was decent in the wings as he was well managed by Maasten in the wings he got some chances but he failed to capitalise on it.

Mbappe had a decent game as the French superstar could not have much chances, however got the chance to bring back his side but was unfortunately denied by the bar.
