Thibaut Courtois sustained a muscle injury during the Madrid derby at the Civitas Metropolitano, that affected his ability to take goal kicks towards the end of the game. Carlo Ancelotti confirmed that Courtois will undergo medical tests on Monday to assess the seriousness of the injury and determine if he needs to take some time off for recovery.

Courtois's Injury Frustrated Atletico Madrid Fans

Additionally, there was an unfortunate incident involving Atlético Madrid fans throwing objects towards Courtois to curb their frustration during the second half of the fixture.
