Following yesterday night's 3-2 El Clasico victory, Real Madrid supporters relished making fun of Barcelona and head coach Xavi. Real had to equalise twice and then behind to secure the victory, with Jude Bellingham scoring the game-winning goal in injury time.

Xavi has already stated that he will leave his position as Barcelona's manager at the conclusion of the current campaign, but club executives are still trying to persuade him to continue. The 44-year-old should change his mind, according to the supporters in Madrid, even though it doesn't seem realistic at this point.

Real supporters thereafter chanted "Xavi, stay" both inside and outside of the Bernabeu. "Xavi, please stay!"

Barcelona's first goal came from Andres Christensen, but a penalty kick from Vinicius Jr. tied the score after the first half. The visitors led 2-1 after Fermin Lopez's goal, but Lucas Vazquez equalised once more for Real Madrid. Jude Bellingham scored the winner in the dying moments of the game to take the victory for his side.

With six games remaining in the season, Real is well-positioned to recover the crown after this victory. After just six minutes, it appeared that Barcelona would have a successful evening as Christensen climbed above Toni Kroos to get to Raphinha's corner.

The celebrations, however, were short-lived as Vinicius scored his 13th La Liga strike of the season after official Cesar Soto Grado signalled for a penalty after Pau Cubarsi shoved Vazquez in the area.

FC Barcelona denied goal against Real Madrid at Santiago Bernabeu

Lamine Yamal glanced a corner towards goal, thinking he had given Barcelona the lead again, but goalie Andriy Lunin, who was positioned behind the line, swiped it away.

Barcelona insisted that the ball had crossed the line, although the video assistant official determined that it had not since La Liga lacks goal line technology. Lopez's close-range goal during the 69th minute ignited a tight second half after Lunin deflected a cross onto his path.
