Reports from France state that a PSG educator is facing charges for abusing children. PSG suspended the 27-year-old suspect and sent him to the criminal court. Several internal files detail allegations of young males between the ages of 14 and 16 attempting to kiss on the neck, offering massages or licking feet, and requesting sex recordings.

There is no news on the identity of this official and the French powerhouses have stayed silent on the issue thus far. Maybe once the verdict from the court comes out, there will be more clarity on this issue.

Can Paris Saint-Germain finally lift the UEFA Champions League?

The Qatari owners of Paris Saint-Germain have lavished money on the team to draw big names for more than ten years. Their objectives were to turn the club profitable, dispel the notion that it is a hooligan-friendly team, and develop a strong squad that is capable of lifting the Champions League.

They have established steady development, with their revenues reaching 800 million euros ($890 million) for the very first time last year. They were also successful in eliminating the violence from their stadium, which frequently contributed to the tense and hostile environment inside the Parc des Princes.

Furthermore, they succeeded in bringing the biggest stars in the sport to Paris. At times, players like Kylian Mbappé, Neymar, and Lionel Messi gave hope of winning the biggest championship in Europe. However, winning the Champions League remained an unattainable goal.

Now that the big names have all left, the team could be more prepared to compete for European supremacy, despite the seeming contradiction. The transfer of Mbappé to Real Madrid during the summer signalled the conclusion of an era at PSG, where being dependent on the individual talents of the best players and spraying money had become the standard procedure since the 2011 Qatari acquisition. Messi had left the club for Inter Miami, and Neymar had left for Al-Hilal, a Saudi Arabian team.
