On the final day of the English Premier League season, Manchester City faced West Ham United at the Etihad stadium. The hosts knew they had the fate in their own hands and needed a win to seal the title today. Any slip-up today might just allow Arsenal to take the title away from them, so it was an important day for the Cityzens.

As  expected, Manchester City started the game with the early possession and got the opener inside three minutes. It was PFA Player of the Year, Phil Foden who slotted the ball into the top left corner. Once again, sixteen minutes later, Foden made sure to increase the lead for the side as he ended a great spell of possession for the hosts. Mohammed Kudus’s epic strike got a goal back for the side in the 42nd minute of the game. Later on, Rodri increased the lead and that sealed the game for the hosts.

The striker missed a great chance to put his 3-0 up and it was a great opportunity that he squandered.
