Manchester City have already become the champions of the English Premier League for the 6th time in seven years under Pep Guardiola. The Sky Blues under him have been one of the most dominant teams in the league under the Spaniard. The 53-year-old recently won the PL 'Manager of the Season' for the fifth time. He has a year of contract left with the club but as things stand he has no intention of renewing the contract next season as he believes he has achieved every possible thing with the club. 

City will be facing Manchester United in the final of the FA Cup, ahead of the game the Spanish manager dropped a comment about his former footballer Vincent Kompany, the ex-club captain has been one of the legendary defenders for the club and the league as well. The Belgian is currently the manager of recently relegated club Burnley, however, he has been linked with becoming the coach of Bayer Munich next season. 

As the 38-year-old manager has been in talks with the German club. With the rumours circulating Guardiola has also heard of his former footballer to join Munich. The former manager believes that Kompany will be a great manager in the near future and will also manage the Sky Blues as well.

As per Fabrizio Romano's tweet, "Vincent Kompany is a future Manchester City manager. Remember my words. It's bound to happen, and you can just call me when it does. It doesn't matter that he was relegated with Burnley. I have high thoughts about his work and him as a person. I would be happy to see him in Bayern." 

Bayern after getting rejected with numerous coaches is yet to take a final call on the former defender. They would love no more drama ahead of the season to start and want to get him as soon as possible. They failed to win the Bundesliga for the first time in 11 years's history.
