Manchester United will be up against Manchester City in the final of the FA Cup on Saturday at the iconic Wembley Stadium. The Red Devils despite their poor season have the slightest chance of qualifying for the upcoming European competition by winning the game on the weekend against their arch-rivals. The club suffered lots of injuries with number 45 the most in the PL 2023/24 season. Despite their poor season, they are in the final of one tournament.

However some of the players will be missing the game, with one of them being French striker Anthony Martial as the footballer having already played his last game for the club. The 28-year-old footballer has already decided to leave the club at the end of the season. He has not been the first choice since the joining of Rasmus Hojlund and has been out injured for the majority of the season.

As per the rumours, this will be the last game of manager Erik ten Hag as he is set to leave the club after the end of the season. The INEOS group have already started finding new managers that can take over at Old Trafford with Thomas Tuchel, Mauricio Pochettino and Thomas Frank is in the list of the Red Devils to become the head coach.

Who will play in United's defence on the weekend?

According to The Athletic, Casemiro is another player who might sit out on Saturday, with the United squad training this week without the Brazil midfielder in the starting lineup. The two are among many United players who have been injured this season, a fact that boss Ten Hag has regretted numerous times.

Speaking earlier this month, the ex-Ajax boss said: "So huge, so many injury issues, so I trust all my experience, it can happen once in 10 years. Hopefully, now I have to wait another 10 to have so many injuries to deal with." The question arises who will be paired up with Lisandro Martinez in the final with Raphael Varane and Harry Maguire out with injuries?

Probable Playing XI
