Manchester City has already become the Champions of the English Premier League. The Sky Blues made a unique record by winning the PL four consecutive times. Pep Guardiola's side will be next up against Manchester United in the FA Cup final on Saturday. Ahead of the game, their regular goalkeeper Ederson will be out of action as he had a fractured eye socket. The Brazilian shot-stopper collided in the game against Tottenham Hotspur.

The goalkeeper during a game at White Hart Lane, had a collision with Argentine defender Cristian Romero, and he was soon feeling dizzy and was taken off from the game, but he was furious after being substituted from the game as he felt he could continue in the game. Stefan Ortega replaced him in the game for the rest of the match. After the scan, it was revealed that he had an injury in his eyes and missed the last game of the PL against West Ham as well.

As per the reports by Fabrizio Romano, the 30-year-old footballer has decided to leave the club in the upcoming summer transfer window if he gets any good offer from clubs. There has been interest from Saudi Pro League clubs with Éderson considering possibilities at the end of the season. The decision is yet to be made final by the player himself.

Will Ederson miss Copa America in 2024?

The Brazilian footballer has also been named in the Copa America 2024 squad. He might also be the first choice for the Selecaos, it will be interesting to watch if he could get fully fit with his eye damage ahead of the quadrennial tournament of CONMEBOL. He has 13 clean sheets in 33 appearances for the club in the 2023/24 season.

The upcoming destination of the Brazilian will be interesting to watch as the transfer window is set to open in just a few weeks time. City has been one of the most dominant sides in England and the European circuit as well, under Guardiola they have been a difficult team to beat, they also won their first UCL last season beating Inter Milan in the final.
