Victor Osimhen has reportedly taken decisive measures against his agent, Roberto Calenda, in response to the turmoil following his departure from Napoli. Osimhen's exit from Napoli gained momentum after his significant contribution to the club's Italian Serie A title win in the 2022/23 season, leading to an anticipated departure. He extended his contract until 2026 with a higher salary and a contentious release clause, which complicated his transfer.
The delay in finalizing the transfer was due, in part, to the associated fees, resulting in unsuccessful negotiations with Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea and Al-Ahli. This situation has placed the player at risk of an extended period without playing at Napoli.

The End of the Road for Calenda as Oshimen's agent
Reports from Il Matino suggest that Osimhen has decided to part ways with agent Roberto Calenda following his departure from Napoli to Galatasaray. Allegedly, he was not involved in the discussions for the loan move to Galatasaray, as another intermediary, George Gardi, was appointed to facilitate the deal between the Italian and Turkish clubs.
Victor Osimhen and Calenda began working shortly after he joined Napoli in 2020, but the agent has come under scrutiny for how he managed the African Footballer of the Year.
All about Osimhen's new deal and agent
Gardi has been instrumental in helping numerous players from Italy join Turkish clubs, including Osimhen's former teammates Dries Mertens, Nicolo Zaniolo, and Mauro Icardi. As noted by GIFN, Osimhen's loan move to Turkey does not include any mandatory clause, as he had initially requested that from Chelsea early in the window.
It has been reported that there is a break clause in the deal, which would allow the individual to consider other opportunities should offers from top European clubs arise in January. Additionally, the release clause with Napoli has been adjusted to €75 million.
