With a straightforward tap-in from Kane's service, Michael Olise's goal during the 23rd minute gave the visitors the lead. Nine minutes later, following an outstanding solo attempt in the Werder Bremen penalty box, the former Crystal Palace player set up Jamal Musiala. After cutting inside from the right side, Olise dribbled past three players and squared the ball in front of the goal for Musiala, who increased the lead for the squad.

After just 12 minutes of play in the second half, Harry Kane's name was on the scoreboard thanks to an assist from Olise on a landmark goal. Within the following eight minutes, Gnabry scored the game's fifth and final goal, and Olise finished off his brace.

Michael Olise is doing fairly well in his new life in Bavaria. The Frenchman, who cost €53 million to acquire from Crystal Palace to Bayern Munich, joined the team later than expected despite having represented his country in the Olympics.

In five appearances across every competition for Bayern Munich, the 22-year-old has notched four goals and created one. Vincent Kompany praised him. In a decisive 6-1 victory over recently promoted Holstein Kiel in the German Bundesliga last weekend, Olise scored Bayern Munich's fifth goal. The following Tuesday, in the Champions League, he added two more goals to his total with a brace versus Dinamo Zagreb.

“He’s already playing a good role” : Vincent Kompany on Michael Olise

Vincent Kompany ahead of the game against Werder Bremen spoke to the media in the pre-match press conference. He said, “I didn’t think it was bad that he played at the Olympics. He came back very fit. He’s already playing a good role and will make many good steps. Now he should keep calm and keep it up.”

The Sporting Director of Bayern Munich, Christoph Freund said, “He played very well at the Olympics. Of course, a lot is new for him. New club, country and culture. He was called up to the national team for the first time. A lot is happening around him at the moment, but we are very happy that things have started this way for Michael.”
