Mauro Icardi in major controversy after ex-wife files threat claims

After an alleged fight, Wanda Nara allegedly contacted the police to remove her estranged husband, Mauro Icardi, from a lavish residence in Argentina. Icardi, a striker for Galatasaray, is returning home for surgery on a knee ligament damage he sustained during a Europa League match against Tottenham. The injury is expected to terminate Icardi's season. When Nara is in Argentina, he reportedly first moved into an apartment in Buenos Aires.

After that, Icardi moved into Nara's guarded home in Nordelta, where she is currently seeing Argentine performer Elian Valenzuela, best known by his stage as L-Gante. According to reports, the football player was told until November 25 to vacate the premises. His unwillingness to do so, coupled with alleged insults on social media, allegedly sparked an incident that got so out of hand that the local authorities were summoned.

Icardi, a former forward for Inter Milan and Paris Saint-Germain, has apparently been slapped with a restraining order that requires him to avoid Nara. The Daily Mail quotes the model, TV host, and agent as saying, “I lent him my house from the heart as I would do with anyone, as I do with my ex Maxi Lopez every time he comes to Argentina. I offered him my house and lent it to him. The loan was until November 25, after that I needed it for personal reasons.”

The former PSG striker’s lawyer responded to this by saying that, “This is all part of a false accusation of non-existent threats, for which Wanda Nara will have to answer before the courts. It is shameful, immoral and unfair to harass a father of a family over a property issue on the eve of surgery. To do this to the father of her daughters, to the man who raised and supported her other three children, speaks volumes about the person that Mrs Nara is.”

Although the search of the residence, which started at 3:30 am local time, turned up nothing, Nara is reported to have claimed that Mauro Icardi might have had firearms on the premises. until having a knee procedure on Tuesday, Icardi, who engaged Nara in May 2015 although seen the pair go through many separations until finally breaking up during the summer of 2024, has relocated into a friend's home.
