Edoardo Bove, a midfielder for Fiorentina, collapsed on the field during Sunday's Serie A game against Inter Milan at home. The former Roma midfielder abruptly fell as they halted play at the Stadio Franchi to talk about a possible VAR check on a goal that was disallowed by Lautaro Martinez.
Bove abruptly fell on the field when he was tying his laces. His teammates and the Inter players reacted in a panic, hurriedly calling for the medical professionals to arrive. After calling for medical assistance right away, his teammates encircled the 22-year-old Bove while he received treatment, and he was quickly carried to an ambulance close to the field.

Inter Milan game has been briefly halted due to the incident that occurred in the sixteenth minute. The Italian midfielder was brought to the hospital for treatment. We don't yet know his present state. According to Sky Italia, the 22-year-old was "breathing on his own." The football player is currently in Florence's Careggi Hospital; formal announcements are still pending.
