Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain have struck an agreement on the signing of Manuel Ugarte. The Red Devils have been in talks with the French champions over the Uruguayan midfielder for well over a month, but have unable to reach an agreement on a transfer cost. However, according to Fabrizio Romano, PSG has accepted an initial offer of 50 million euros plus 10 million euros in add-ons from United.

Manuel Ugarte's personal arrangements have already been agreed upon, and he will now go to England to complete his medical and join United. Manchester United has already completed four signings this summer. They began their summer business by signing Bologna attacker Joshua Zirkzee, and then they defeated Real Madrid with highly regarded Lille defender Leny Yoro.

Ugarte will now join Bayern Munich's Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui, who completed their eagerly expected move to Old Trafford just before the 2024–25 Premier League season got underway. The 23-year-old left Sporting CP to join PSG last summer, and in his first season, he made 37 appearances for Les Parisiens across all competitions. But going into the new season, especially when PSG signed Joao Neves from Benfica, he was judged surplus to requirements and was free to explore a move out.

The arrival of Ugarte may mean that Scott McTominay's time at United is coming to an end. A 30 million euros deal from Napoli for the Scotland international has been accepted; personal details will be addressed. Ugarte may make his United debut on Sunday when the Red Devils play fierce rivals Liverpool if he joins and receives international clearance in time. The encounter between managers Erik ten Hag and Arne Slot this weekend will be their first away from their home country of the Netherlands.

Al Nassr interested to sign Casemiro

According to reports Saudi Pro League team Al Nassr is prepared to make a summer transfer bid of between 90 million and 100 million euros for Manchester United midfielder Casemiro. The Brazil international has not been happy at Old Trafford, especially in his second season where he has appeared to be getting older and off the pace.
