Bruno Fernandes and Diogo Dalot showed their unwavering support for their former Manchester United team-mate Mason Greenwood after the latter netted yet another goal for Marseille on Sunday. The 23-year-old has made an impressive impact in France following his £27 million move from Old Trafford earlier this summer, earning the continued respect of the Portuguese duo.
Earlier this year, Manchester United and Greenwood made the choice to part ways, especially after the club faced backlash regarding plans to reintegrate him into Erik ten Hag's squad. This decision was clearly in the best interest of all parties involved.

The former Red Devils No.11 had been sidelined for nearly two years following his arrest in January 2022 on serious charges, including attempted rape, controlling and coercive behaviour, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
Despite these allegations, Greenwood denied all charges. In February of the following year, the UK's Prosecution Service dropped the case, citing the withdrawal of key witnesses and the emergence of new evidence, which eliminated any realistic chance of securing a conviction.
After scoring 10 times in 36 games in Spain, the Bradford-born forward made a permanent move to Marseille ahead of this season. He has already proven his worth, netting 11 goals and providing two assists in just 16 appearances for the Ligue 1 club, with his latest goal coming this past Sunday.
Greenwood opened the scoring in Marseille's commanding 4-0 Coupe de France victory over Saint-Etienne, against the 10-man hosts.
Following the dominant performance, he celebrated the win by posting an image of his celebration on Instagram, which Fernandes and Dalot promptly liked to show their support.
