Joshua Zirkzee and Rasmus Hojlund

Juventus is keeping an eye on Joshua Zirkzee's circumstances at Manchester United and may make a loan bid to get the striker in the summer. Zirkzee has had difficulty making an impression in the Premier League after joining Manchester United in the summer for £34 million from Bologna.

After scoring a game-winning goal off the bench in his debut against Fulham, the 23-year-old has since failed to score in 10 games in all competitions. The rivalry for a spot has intensified since Rasmus Hojlund returned from injury, and Manchester United is one of the English teams vying for RB Leipzig attacker Benjamin Sesko during the summer.

As Manchester United looks to outscore rivals Arsenal and Chelsea for a player who has notched 24 goals across 52 games for Leipzig, Sporting Director Dan Ashworth is reportedly considering a move for Benjamin Sesko. According to Tutto Juve, Juventus would be prepared to provide Joshua Zirkzee with a loan transfer to Serie A if the Red Devils prevail in the competitive hunt for the Slovenian.

Last season, the Dutch international made an impression at Bologna under Juventus manager Thiago Motta, scoring 11 league strikes to help the Italian team qualify for the Champions League in an unexpected fashion. In 2023–2024, Zirkzee won Serie A Young youngster of the Year, and Motta would have been amenable to seeing the youngster again in Turin.

“"I would loan Zirkzee from Manchester United” : Paulo di Canio

Paolo Di Canio has deemed Joshua Zirkzee "too slow for the Premier League" and has predicted that Manchester United will loan the Dutchman out. As he urged Juventus to take Zirkzee on loan from the English Premier League team, Di Canio poked fun at Manchester United's transfer tactics over the past two years.

The former West Ham United player said, "I would loan Zirkzee from Manchester United. They’ve been making crazy choices for several years and none of them are working, not even Zirkzee who’s a bit too slow for the Premier League. Perhaps he’ll prove me wrong with goals and great performances, but in England, they attack you straight away and whistle 30% fewer fouls.”
