Premier League football club giants Manchester United's fans have voiced their frustration over raised ticket prices for the third consecutive year.

Manchester United fans have voiced their frustration regarding the club's recent announcement about a price increase for season tickets. The club confirmed on Monday that there will be a 5% rise for the 2025-26 season.

This marks the third consecutive season that the ticket prices have been raised, coinciding with the recent news about plans for a £2bn stadium development. The ticket prices has infuriated the fans and the former players are seeking clarifications from the management.

Manchester United's chief executive, Omar Berrada, expressed in a statement the club's appreciation for the dedicated and patient support of the fans, especially their Season-Ticket holders.

"We appreciate the loyal and patient support of our fans, and particularly our Season-Ticket holders who represent the core of our match-going support base. We understand the importance of their backing for the team and have worked hard to come up with a pricing package that is fair and reasonable," he said.

Manchester United fans are on the cusp of a disastrous season as the team hasn't been able to swiftly transitioning from Erik ten Hag to Ruben Amorim as head coach. To improve the club's financial stability, co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe has introduced several cost-cutting measures, which include lay-offs and  restructuring of Sir Alex Ferguson’s role as a global ambassador. Additionally, the club is re-evaluating its stadium plans, asserting that such investment may impact the future of the club's squad.

Fans expressed their frustration via a Tiafoe urging the club's management to stop exploiting loyal fans of the Red Devils. Even some of the former legends of the club, like Paul Scholes, are strictly criticising the management.

"Stop exploiting Loyal Fans" the banner read. Manchester United are set to return to action after the international break when they face a rejuvenated Nottingham Forest.
