Hungarian national team captain Dominik Szoboszlai was indulged in a heated altercation with Arda Guler during a 3-0 defeat to Turkey. Following the conclusion of the match, the Hungarian skipper cheap-shot the youngster on an Instagram post.
Turkey secured a convincing 3-0 victory in the Nations League play-offs, leaving Hungary with a disappointing 6-1 scoreline. Arda Guler was also among the goal scorers for Turkey in important playoffs.
After scoring in the fixture, Guler approached Szoboszlai with a shushing gesture. The Liverpool midfielder appeared stunned by the action from the youngster and responded with laughter as Hungary was relegated from League A to the competition's second tier.

After the game, Szoboszlai noticed a post from the Hungarian outlet Nemzeti Sport that featured the moment he was shushed, and he responded with a comment of his own.
The Liverpool star took a cheap dig at the Galacticos youngster and commented with the number 1088'. Dominic referred to the total minutes played by Arda Güler at Santiago Bernabeu.

Dubbed as Turkey's next generational talent, Arda Guller moved to Real Madrid from Fenerbahce in 2023. However, the 20-year-old star has made just 12 first-team appearances under Carlo Ancelotti.
It is reported that Guller has been getting frustrated with his playing time at Real Madrid. Both his national team's manager and skipper shared their opinion on the serious issue.
"I don't know what his situation is at Real Madrid, that's why I don't want to get too involved in this situation because in the end he knows more, although of course I want and believe he deserves to play more minutes," Hakan Calhanoglu said.
Dominik Szoboszlai has played a total of 2889 minutes at Anfield, during which he has netted seven goals and assisted five times. In comparison, Arda Güler has managed to clock only 1088 minutes. He has netted three goals in the current season.
