On Sunday, Kingsley Coman participated in the Bundesliga's opening game week for Bayern Munich versus Wolfsburg. In the 75th minute, as Bayern looked to win the game, the French winger stepped off the bench. Before Friday's transfer deadline, Coman's future at Bayern Munich remained unclear even though he played frequently for Vincent Kompany throughout the preseason.
After nine fruitful years at Bayern, the French speedster is willing to leave. Coman is interested in leaving Bayern Munich only to work on a project that appeals to him and will enable him to contend for major awards. It appears that the French international may choose to play in the Premier League.
Reliable France Football reporter Nabil Djellit claims that Liverpool wants to add Coman from Bayern to bolster their offensive line. Before the deadline, the team from Merseyside is constantly trying to bolster their roster. Federico Chiesa, a winger for Juventus, is apparently of interest to Liverpool in addition to Coman.
Since Coman was already an established player at Bayern Munich, he wasn't immediately in a rush to leave Bayern. The attacker is now available to finalise a deal, though. L'Equipe (via GFFN) reports that Coman made the decision to depart Bavaria after Bayern stated their intention to let him go in an effort to reduce their payroll.
Will Kingsley Coman go to England or Saudi Arabia?
For Coman, Liverpool would be the ideal location. This season, the Premier League team is back in the UEFA Champions League and vying for major titles in England. Liverpool would find it appealing that Die Roten also are willing to approve a loan deal with a purchase option or obligation.
Coman's desire to remain in Europe has been extensively covered in France and Germany. Clubs in Saudi Arabia, though, are still interested in the French winger. Saudi Arabia is still very interested in Coman, according to Christian Falk of Bild, and Bayern and Saudi Arabia are still in talks. According to L'Equipe, Al-Hilal is most interested in Coman so far in this window.
