Real Madrid have been one of the finest clubs in Europe. The Los Blancos have been the most successful side in the European circuit, as they were the champions of the UEFA Champions League for the record 15th time on June 1st after beating Borussia Dortmund in the final. There are no clubs that come close to the Spanish side while winning the UCL. They have added more firepower in the next season as they signed Kylian Mbappe.

The club has been one of the most dominant sides in recent years and against the odds have performed really well. Former FC Barcelona captain Lionel Messi also has dropped his comments about the team against whom he always had the better off during his time at the Catalonian club. The Argentine captain scored his first club hat trick against the Spanish side announcing himself at the biggest stage of football.

The 36-year-old forward has been the highest goal scorer in the El Clasico finding the net 26 times in the big fixture during a glittering career with Barcelona. This included 18 goals in La Liga matches, six in the Supercopa and two in the Champions League. At the present moment surpassing him in terms of the El Clasico record is looking very diminishing.
