France captain Kylian Mbappe has received some criticism from the fans for not joining the national team for their upcoming Nations League matches against Israel and Belgium, despite being available to play for Real Madrid. Mbappe suffered a muscle injury last month, but he recently returned to the pitch as a substitute in Real Madrid's Champions League match against Lille.

The Gaffer on Mbappe's role as a Captain 

Didier Deschamps recently discussed Mbappe's dual role as a club player and national team captain, highlighting the inevitable conflicts of interest between the two. Deschamps emphasized the importance of considering the interests of both the clubs and the national teams, acknowledging that the clubs hold authority over the players. Mbappe's situation is especially complex as he is not only a key player for Real but also the captain of the French national team, following Antoine Griezmann's retirement from international football last week.

"Obviously, with Kylian our captain, and Antoine, who was the vice-captain, both missing, it means there will definitely be others for these two matches."- he added.

New Report Sparks Controversy 

A recent report came to the forefront where it is revealed that Kylian mbappé wanted to miss the previous international break with France in September to focus on real Madrid. However, his request was rejected by Didier Deschamps. 

Choosing to skip national matches in preparation for club matches doesn't sound good, especially when Mbappe is the skipper of the national team. This report has enraged French supporters.
