Khephren Thuram, the midfielder for Nice, is close to joining Serie A powerhouse Juventus, and the deal is expected to finalize next week. Given that Marcus Thuram is already at Inter, it appears highly probable that both of the Thuram brothers could be playing for two fierce rivals teams in Serie A.

Thuram will be Juventus' second summer acquisition, according to Gianluca di Marzio, and the deal is extremely, extremely close. With just a year remaining on his Nice agreement, he persuaded Juventus to make an immediate bid for him in exchange for a lowball offer.

The deal will bring in €20 million for Nice plus bonuses, which will be determined by how much he participates and by Juve's own results. Douglas Luiz, who previously signed the Old Lady from Aston Villa during a swap plus cash transaction, will close next week.

The 23-year-old advanced through AS Monaco's levels and began refining his skills at Nice in 2019. The Bianconeri are going to be able to sign him for comparatively less money because his deal with the team expires next year. This season, in 35 Ligue 1 appearances, the France international netted two goals and provided four assists.

Adrien Rabiot set to leave Juventus as a free agent?

Yesterday marked the expiration of Adrien Rabiot's contract with Juventus, making him a free agent. Months of attempts by the Italian team to prolong the Frenchman's stay at the club have been fruitless; according to Fabrizio Romano, the talks have come to a standstill.

The team and the player are still at odds, with Juventus supposedly thinking they have given Rabiot the most lucrative deal possible, which would have seen him make over €7 million a season. The Frenchman can now speak with other teams because his contract has expired, and there is still a lot of interest in the international. Juventus have offered a decent contract but it’s up to Rabiot and his agents to decide their next step.
