Jude Bellingham, an England midfielder, cleared up a mistake he made on the field following Sunday's UEFA Euro 2024 victory over Slovakia, winning 2-1. At UEFA Euro 2024, Bellingham gave England a thrilling equalizer in stoppage time on Sunday, helping the Three Lions come back from behind to defeat Slovakia 2-1. In Gelsenkirchen, the Real Madrid player scored with an incredible overhead kick to send the game into overtime. Harry Kane, the captain of England, later scored the game-winning goal to advance Gareth Southgate's team to the quarterfinals.

Following the game, video circulated on social media that seemed to capture Bellingham celebrating his equalizer by pointing a suggestive gesture towards the Slovakia bench. The Real Madrid player, though, quickly corrected the record by justifying his conduct in a post on X. He said, “An inside joke gesture towards some close friends who were at the game. Nothing but respect for how that Slovakia team played tonight.”

When England plays Switzerland in the final eight of UEFA Euro 2024 on Saturday in Dusseldorf, supporters of Gareth Southgate's team will be hoping to see Bellingham rejoice again.

Jude Bellingham’s farewell message for Joselu

After the veteran striker's transfer to Al-Gharafa in Qatar, Jude Bellingham posted a heartfelt homage to Joselu on Instagram stories. Real Madrid agreed to exercise the nominal buy option in their loan deal with Espanyol in order to retain Joselu for the 2024–25 season. The midfielder said, "A pleasure, Joselu, wish you nothing but the best!"

However, the former Stoke City and Newcastle United striker decided to take on a new challenge because of the intense competition for spots that will arise from the signings of Kylian Mbappe and Endrick, in addition to the superior financial package that will be offered in Qatar. However, it is understandable why Bellingham would be especially appreciative of the two having shared the field during Joselu's dramatic Champions League brace versus Bayern Munich, which sent Real Madrid into the Wembley final.
