Joshua Kimmich of Bayern Munich is attracting "concrete attention" from Liverpool and Arsenal, according to Caught Offside. The 30-year-old has had tremendous success since relocating from Stuttgart to the Allianz Arena in 2015, winning every big competition that came along.
However, as his current contract with the Bavarian club expires at the end of this season, rumors about his future have begun to surface in recent months. According to Caught Offside, Kimmich and Bayern Munich are no longer in discussions to negotiate an extension, and as a result, teams from all over the world are lined up to sign him as a free agent.
Both Liverpool and Arsenal are showing "solid interest" in getting him away from Allianz Arena from the Merseyside outfit. The German now earns over £320,000 a week at Bayern Munich, but Liverpool plans to give him less. On the other hand, the North London squad plans to extend his contract by one year after the first two-year term concludes.

However, Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Manchester City are all interested in signing the midfield player, so Liverpool and Arsenal aren't the only teams interested in him. As a possible successor for Toni Kroos, Los Blancos are trying to sign him. Last summer, Liverpool made an attempt but ultimately failed to acquire a new midfield player. Thus, it seems that they are currently aiming to fortify the engine room for the next summer.
However, it appears that Arsenal is looking to add new midfield players to replace Thomas Partey and Jorginho, who are scheduled to become free agents after this season. Since Kimmich is regarded as one of the greatest midfield players in the world, it would be a huge coup for either Liverpool or Arsenal to convince him to sign with them next summer.
