Jose Mourinho claims that Manchester United got saved because of Andre Onana

In their thrilling 1-1 UEFA Europa League match, Jose Mourinho feels his Fenerbahce team outperformed Man United. He said while speaking to TNT Sports, “They got a point against us, not we got a point against them. We played amazing, I was telling the player if we play like this in the Turkish league, we destroy every team because we played a team at a superior level to us.”

The former AS Roma manager said, "The Premier League has more pace, more quality, more everything, my boys did an amazing match. In England, people will talk about how many Man United players didn't play but you don't know how many of our players didn't play because as a start, we had four players out at least then we had to finish the game a centre-back playing right-back, a right-back playing left-back, playing a crazy puzzle.

The former Chelsea head coach added, "Our performance was extraordinary. I couldn't ask anymore of our players, Onana made two incredible saves, they score in a situation that we knew they could, the pace of the wingers, the arrival of the midfielders, we knew could hurt us but a phenomenal performance.”

The former Tottenham Hotspur manager ended by saying that, "He saved the result, my goalkeeper didn't make a save. He made two impossible saves in 10 seconds, I think the most decisive player in the result. He didn't make 20 saves but he made two saves... incredible, Onana can do it."
