Ruben Amorim, manager of Manchester United, stated that although dealing with the Premier League team's problems is annoying, he is still confident in his capacity to solve them. On Boxing Day, United will go to Wolverhampton Wanderers to overcome two straight losses. Since taking over as manager of Manchester United, Amorim has presided over six Premier League games, however, he has only managed two victories, three defeats, and a draw.
When Marcus Rashford, said he was "ready for a new challenge" in a recent interview, he hinted at a potential move. However, Amorim made it apparent that his position did not change. Amorim acknowledged that United was in a dire situation and called the current time frame "one of the lowest moments in our club." He is still certain that he can lead the group through these difficulties, nevertheless.
"Some guys have a big responsibility here because they have been here for a long time," Amorim emphasized, highlighting the importance of Rashford and other crucial players. "If you have big talent, we need big performance, big responsibility, big engagement to push everybody forward in this moment." Recognizing how serious United's difficult situation is, Amorim called the current time frame "one of the lowest moments in our club." He still has faith in his abilities to lead the group through these difficulties, though.
Manchester United struggling with injuries
"I know what I am going to do. That is so clear for me," Ruben Amorim told reporters. "I will not say I am feeling relaxed because I am frustrated. It is a very difficult moment, but we will solve problems step by step and find answers for everything."
Victor Lindelof and Matthijs de Ligt are still out due to injury, which the Portuguese manager revealed. Amorim emphasized the necessity of closely monitoring player workloads in order to prevent more setbacks. Despite the current difficulties, Amorim repeated his dedication to a long-term Manchester United reconstruction.
