Florian Wirtz is now Bayern Munich's top target for 2025 after he chose to stay for another season at Bayer Leverkusen, according to Sky Sport Deutschland. The 20-year-old midfielder has excelled for Xabi Alonso's squad throughout their Bundesliga-winning season, tallying 17 goals and 19 assists across all competitions. The best teams in Europe, like Real Madrid, Manchester City, and Liverpool, are paying attention to his performances.

Wirtz is expected to play one more season for the Bundesliga winners after joining Bayer Leverkusen in the summer from Cologne's youth system. The Bavarian club's administration hopes to sign the German international since the player's family sees it as a possible stop on their overseas transfer. They anticipate moving next summer as well.

Not so long ago, Uli Hoeneb had made a hint about this. According to FCB honorary president Hoeneß, FC Bayern may "spend 100 million euros once on a Harry Kane, perhaps again on a German player, but not four or five times." Wirtz is this German player, it is said.

According to BILD, Bayern Munich knows they would have to pay above 100 million euros for the German international. Since Wirtz isn't going to be leaving Bayer Leverkusen this summer, they are thinking about signing a deal until the summer of 2025.

Meanwhile, Bayern Munich director Freund as stated “We're very happy with the squad we have”. “Wirtz is a great player, he’s playing well together with Jamal Musiala in the national team”. “I can't say what will happen in the coming months”, as per Bild.

Bayern Munich has good ataacking players

Harry Kane of Bayern has an already formidable supporting group behind him, including Michael Olise, Mathys Tel, Jamal Musiala, and others. Put Wirtz in the center, with Michael Olise and Musiala on either side of him. It is just absurd to consider that. Given that both Wirtz and Musiala were instrumental in Germany's victory against Hungary, Musiala is already acquainted with the player. That gives an idea of what may be accomplished when both players play together.
