‘Golden generation gone down’ - Fans react as France edge out Belgium in UEFA Euro 2024

France have now qualified for the quarterfinals of the UEFA Euro 2024 with a narrow 1-0 win against Belgium at the Dusseldorf Arena in Germany.

In a highly anticipated round of 16 encounter for UEFA Euro 2024, France and Belgium faced off at the Dusseldorf Arena. Leandro Trossard, one of the more well-known footballers in the Belgian team, is not starting for Arsenal in the crucial match against fierce rivals from France and has been benched.

Dembele has only made one attempt on goal in Euro 2024 and has yet to score or provide an assist. Additionally, Dembele's passing accuracy is 16th out of the team, and his crossing accuracy is a pitiful 30.3 percent. Adrien Rabiot will miss the following game, assuming they advance, after receiving his second yellow card during the competition today against Belgium.

With five minutes remaining in the match, France led when Kolo Muani scored from a free kick in the 85th minute of play. Belgium just can’t beat France in a major competition
