In just six Bundesliga matches, Wirtz has demonstrated his scoring prowess by netting four goals and providing one assist. He has also made an impact in the Champions League with two goals. Additionally, he has been selected by Julian Nagelsmann for Germany's upcoming Nations League matches and is set to face Bosnia and Herzegovina on October 11.
