'First, Lamine Yamal..' - Former Real Madrid manager names Barcelona star as his first vote for Ballon d'Or

From the time Hansi Flick was appointed as the manager of Barcelona, the club is seen to play the game wonderfully. In the ongoing season, Barcelona has won two trophies Spanish Super Cup and Copa del Rey and will be winning La Liga title which will be their third title. The style of playing football has excited their fans and many players are impressed. One of the main reasons for Barcelona good form is their young star Lamine Yamal.  

Since the start of the season, Yamal has been a standout player for the team. At the age of 17, he is making his name big with his performance. With the performance, he is showing he is making himself a favourite candidate to win the Ballon d’Or and many other individuals award. Former Real Madrid manager Fabio Capello also thinks the same. 

During an interview, Fabio Capello sees Lamine Yamal as the winner of the Ballon d’Or award. "I would vote for Lamine Yamal for the Ballon d'Or. My votes would be: Vinicius, Mbappe and first Lamine Yamal", he said. Further he also speaks about Yamal’s potential and rates him very high. He also mentions Lamine Yamal has reached the level of Diego Maradona and Lionel Messi.

Fabio Capello comapares Lamine Yamal and Cristiano Ronaldo 

"Lamine Yamal is a player with a lot of quality and can improve a lot, but I don't see him as a phenomenon. Messi or Maradona did things that no one could have imagined, but right now I can't compare him to them," he added. He sees Lamine Yamal and Cristiano Ronaldo at the same level. "I'm not talking about statistics. I'm talking about genius and pure quality. Ronaldo is an incredible player who has scored more goals than anyone. But even he isn't Messi or Maradona."

Currently, Lamine Yamal is in good form for the club. He scored 16 goals from 52 games for Barcelona in this season and if he continues the hard work he will be star in football soon.
