On Tuesday, a proud moment took place for Cristiano Ronaldo and his family when Cristiano Ronaldo Jr., the eldest son of the football star, made an unforgettable debut for Portugal's under-15 squad.  With his debut for Portugal's U15 national team. Cristiano Ronaldo Jr took a significant step toward carrying on his father's illustrious legacy.  When the 13-year-old defeated Japan 4-1 in the Vlatko Markovic International Tournament in Sveti Martin na Muri, Croatia, he played his first international match in the well-known red and green.

Like his father, Ronaldo Jr started the game on the bench and entered the game in the second half while sporting the recognisable No. 7 shirt.  He spent 26 minutes playing as a left winger, the same position early in his career that Cristiano Ronaldo Sr had.  Despite not scoring, the teenage forward's presence kept Portugal ahead as they easily won thanks to goals from Henrique Amen and Rafael Cabral's hat-trick.

Following his debut, Cristiano Ronaldo did not hold back from sharing his thoughts on his son’s performance. "Congratulations on your Portugal debut, son. Very proud of you," Cristiano Ronaldo commented on his son's post.  Portugal U15, who are in Group B, will now face Greece, and later they take on England. Ronaldo Jr, who is currently a striker at Al Nassr's academy, is progressively establishing himself in the sport.

Cristiano Ronaldo going strong despite his age

His prodigious goal-scoring, which includes a rumoured 58-goal season with Juventus' junior squad, has already garnered him attention. He is frequently compared to his father, who has played for Manchester United, Real Madrid, Juventus, and now Al Nassr.

The most decorated player in international soccer history is Cristiano Ronaldo. He is the greatest scorer in the history of the international game and is still the captain of Portugal at the age of 40. Ronaldo has made 219 appearances for his nation thus far, tallying 46 assists and 136 goals.   At the international level, he has won both the UEFA European Championship and the UEFA Nations League.
