Chelsea, a Premier League team, defeated West Ham 3-0 inside the London Stadium on Saturday to record their third victory of the current campaign. The team took the lead thanks to two goals from Nicolas Jackson in the first half, and Cole Palmer scored the third goal shortly after in the second. On the road, the Blues maintained their lead to win every point that was available.

Robert Sanchez started in goal for Enzo Maresca, surrounded by Marc Cucurella, Levi Colwill, Tosin Adarabioyo, and Wesley Fofana in defence. Palmer, Enzo Fernandes, and Moises Caicedo were positioned in midfield, with Jadon Sancho along with Noni Madueke on the wings. Just like Marsecas had recommended during Friday's pre-game press conference, Jackson got the start up front.

Julien Lopetegui, the manager of West Ham, started Alphonse Areola in goal and a three-man defence consisting of Konstantinos Mavropanos, Edson Alvarez, and Max Kilman. Emerson and Aaron Wan-Bissaka were used as racing fullbacks, with Lucas Paqueta and Guido Rodriguez occupying the middle positions. The trio of Mohamed Kudus, Jarrod Bowen, and Crysencio Summerville comprised the Hammers' offensive strategy.

During the fourth minute of play, Jackson's fast freekick caught West Ham off guard and let the Senegalese striker through on goal, putting the ball towards the back of the net via Areola's knees to give Chelsea the lead. In the eighteenth minute, Jackson finished with the outside of his foot to double the lead for his team.

Enzo Maresca achieves unique record with 3-0 win

After Pep Guardiola, Enzo Maresca has become the first Premier League manager to win his team's first three away games. Following the break, Jackson took the lead again, setting up Palmer who beat Areola from close to the box to increase the Blues' advantage to three goals. Chelsea secured all three points with a straightforward 0-3 victory away from home, but Joao Felix came close to adding another with the final attempt of the match, missing the post with his shot.
