Cody Rhodes reveals he is scared to face Manchester City star in a fight

Manchester City recently welcomed star Cody Rhodes to visit the Etihad Stadium and City Football Academy to have a look around before this week's WWE Live at the Co-op Live. Currently the Undisputed Champion, Rhodes, also referred to as "The American Nightmare," was in Manchester for Wednesday's match in the brand-new arena.

Cody Rhodes was also questioned on which Manchester City superstar he would not like to face in a WWE fight. The American Nightmare replied by saying, “I'd say Erling Haaland. He looks like the kind of guy who could beat you up easily. Plus, he's got long limbs, which would be a whole other problem.”

Rhodes took some time on Monday to tour our top-notch facilities in anticipation of that. He sat down in the home dressing room in front of a shirt designed to give the legendary wrestler a sense of belonging to the Premier League winners' team. Before seeing the English Premier League trophy and seeing our players' training facilities, he also caught a glimpse of Pep Guardiola's perspective from the dugout.

Ahead of WWE's much awaited return to the UK, Cody Rhodes took to Instagram, a major social media network, to thank Manchester City and WWE UK for providing him with a unique tour and considerate presents. 

Cody said on Instagram that he was excited for WWE's first-ever performance at the Co-op Live stadium and appreciated Manchester City because of their hospitality. He said, "Thank you for the tour, Man City, and the heartfelt gifts. Looking forward to the first show at The Co-op Live this Wednesday.”

Who else is going to take part in the Co-op Live?

In addition to the "Main Event" of Bayley vs. Nia Jax in a WWE Women's Championship match and Jey Uso vs. Gunther during the World Heavyweight Championship street fight, viewers can expect to see him take against Solo Sikoa during the Undisputed WWE Championship Bull Rope Match.

Renowned figures such as Shinsuke Nakamura, Randy Orton, United States Champion LA Knight, and WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill will also be present.
