Recent reports suggest that Nkunku has become increasingly eager for more playing opportunities at Chelsea, leading to speculation about a potential transfer to Bayern Munich.

Garnacho and Nkuku set to switch teams

While no definitive agreement has been reached regarding a swap deal involving Garnacho and Nkunku, discussions have taken place between both United and Chelsea, as reported by Florian Plettenberg. Additionally, Garnacho's agents, Carlos Cambeiro and Quique de Lucas, were present at Chelsea's recent match against Wolves, indicating their willingness to explore the possibility of a move to London for their client.

Following United’s thrilling late victory against Rangers in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday, Ruben Amorim offered thoughtful insights regarding Garnacho's future. He emphasized the significance of Garnacho as a vital member of the team, though he acknowledged uncertainty about developments until the transfer window closes.

Why does the Swap Deal seem probable?

Since Garnacho qualifies as a homegrown player, his potential sale could provide United with a strategic financial advantage.

The similar valuations of Garnacho and Nkunku make a swap deal a highly intriguing prospect. Both players have scored five goals in the Premier League this season, with Garnacho netting three and Nkunku contributing two.

Garnacho has had a decent season, starting 11 out of United's 22 games over 50 per cent while Nkunku has only started three times for Chelsea. A swap may help both the stars to get off to a fresh start at new places.
