Real Madrid's manager Carlo Ancelotti has revealed that the two key first-team players are going to miss the much-awaited Copa Del Rey finals. Real Madrid are set to go toe-to-toe against their arch-nemesis FC Barcelona in the finals of the Copa Del Rey.

The Copa Del Rey finals are scheduled for April 26th at Estadio de La Cartuja. Both rivals will be gunning for the title heading into the third El-Classico of the season.

Carlo Ancelotti rules out David Alaba and Camavinga

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has announced that David Alaba and Eduardo Camavinga will be unavailable for the Copa del Rey final against Barcelona due to injury.

Alaba had to be withdrawn at halftime during Madrid's 1-0 victory against Getafe on Thursday, with French international Camavinga taking his place. Unfortunately, Camavinga also ended the match with an injury, and Madrid has since announced that he has sustained a complete tear of his left adductor tendon, ruling him out for the remainder of the season.

"Camavinga needs to be seen [on Thursday], but both he and Alaba have muscle problems, and it's difficult for them to be there for Saturday," he said.

"I'm not upset because the objective was to get the three points... It's true that we looked for more solidity at the back, and we need more effectiveness up front. Yes, Fran García is the only alternative at left back for Saturday." Ancelotti added.

Carlo Ancelotti and Real Madrid are in all sorts of trouble ahead of the Copa Del Rey finals. The team had been ravaged by injuries pretty much for the entire season. The Galacticos' defence dilemma has intensified as the team is set to miss the services of Ferland Mendy, Eder Militao, Dani Carvajal and David Alaba in the finals. The team will also be without their biggest signing, Kylian Mbappe, who sustained an injury in the last match.

With Real Madrid already out of the UEFA Champions League, their chances of silverware this season now rest on the Copa Del Rey and La Liga. The Galacticos already trail 4 points to FC Barcelona in the La Liga standings, and all the injuries have added another layer of problems for Carlo Ancelotti's men.
