Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt signs young sensation Eyle Wahi

An agreement between Eintracht Frankfurt and Olympique de Marseille (OM) for the young and talented forward, Eyle Wahi, was on the verge of being finalized. Negotiations had progressed to the final stages, with only a few minor details remaining to be resolved. The French media, always attentive to such developments, had already reported Wahi’s eagerness to embark on this new chapter in his career.

Wahi’s transfer marks a pivotal step in Eintracht’s long-term strategy. With Omar Marmoush set to leave for Manchester City, the German side recognized the need to solidify their squad. Marmoush, known for his sheer pace and clinical finishing, played a vital role in the team’s success. However, Eintracht's management approached this transition confidently, having already identified Wahi as an ideal successor to continue the team's strong performance.

Famous Football transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano took to his X to confirm the transfer and also provided a few intricate details about the signing. Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Eintracht Frankfurt has successfully completed the deal for Eyle Wahi from OM. 

He reported that the new bid of €26 million, along with €3 million in add-ons and a 12% sell-on clause, has been accepted. 

A medical is scheduled for tomorrow. This is a solid move for Olympique de Marseille after six months, and Wahi will be a crucial addition to Eintracht.

Eyle Wahi's remarkable rise this season 

At only 20 years old, Wahi has already begun to demonstrate his remarkable potential in Ligue One. This season, he has already amassed  four goal contributions, scoring three and providing one assist in 14 appearances.
