Bruno Fernandes drops a bombshell on his future after heartbreaking loss in finals of Europa League

Manchester United suffered a heartbreaking defeat against Tottenham Hotspur in the finals of the UEFA Europa League. The Red Devils will end the season without any major silverware.

Bruno Fernandes has stated that he will depart from Manchester United this summer if the club seeks to profit from his transfer following their defeat in the Europa League final.

"I have always been honest,’ he said. ‘If the club thinks it's time to part ways because they want to do some cashing in or whatever, it's what it is. Football sometimes is like this. I've always said I will be here until the club says to me that it's time to go. I'm eager to do more, to be able to bring the club to great days. The day that the club thinks that I'm too much or it's time to part ways, football is like this, you never know it. But I've always said it and I keep my word in the same way." Bruno said after UEL finals.

Recent reports indicate that Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal is willing to shatter the British transfer record by offering Fernandes nearly £200 million over a three-year contract after discussions with the representatives.

Manchester United's already falling financial condition will hit rock bottom since they won't feature in any European competitions next season. Winning the all-important UEL finals would have guaranteed Manchester United's qualification to the UEFA Champions League. Bruno Fernandes remains optimistic about Ruben Amorim's capabilities to take Manchester United to new heights despite having a very forgetful first season. The club is currently positioned at the 16th spot in the Premier League, which is the lowest in its history.
