Ruben Amorim stressed before the Conference League finals
Ruben Amorim is experiencing stress despite successfully guiding the team to the Europa League final. He recognises the need to improve his managerial skills, especially with the club currently positioned 15th in the Premier League. While reaching the final brings joy to the loyal fan base, Amorim acknowledges the high expectations that come with his role at such a prestigious club.
"It's the least we can do for these fans, for the support they have given us in this tough season. I'm stressed already because of the final. If we don't do it, it means nothing, but we're happy to be there, so let's see. I know I should be a better manager and the team should be better at this moment, but we're trying. We did quite well in Europe, but we are struggling in the Premier League," Ruben Amorim said after semifinals victory.
Manchester United's last trophy came under the reign of Erik Ten Hag when he guided the Red Devils to FA Cup glory. The team is now in a position to win its first continental crown after 2017, when the team won the UEL under Jose Mourinho.
