Douglas Costa, a former Brazilian international, recently announced the creation of his OnlyFans page. Costa decided to join a growing number of professional athletes, who are using the subscription-based platform to share exclusive behind-the-scenes content.

While OnlyFans has been traditionally associated with adult entertainment, the platform seems to be expanding its scope to attract a wider range of creators from various industries. This shift aims to position OnlyFans as a more inclusive platform, enabling creators to connect with their audience in new and unique ways.

Costa's New Beginning

Costa joined the hoard of Athletes across other sports to join the X-rated platform. Douglas Costa, who is a former Bayern Munich and Juventus star, and has represented Brazil on 31 occasions, didn't join only fans out of financial woes.

Costa stated, “I decided to join OnlyFans because I believe in the company’s credibility and potential for global reach." He further added that he strives to make exclusive content for his fans on the platform, that they won't be able to see on any other social media. “I hope this partnership will be lasting and I can make my fans happy with my content."

Costa’s page is currently free to view and has been active since August 8. It only consists of a few photos of him playing for his previous clubs, as well as a short video of him boxing. This was posted four days before his two-year contract was confirmed by Sydney FC.

Costa, who turns 34 next Saturday, had his first training session with the Sky Blues this week and was praised by coach Ufuk Talay for immediately lifting standards. He is set to play his first game when Sydney's AFC Champions League 2 campaign begins on September 19 against Hong Kong outfit Eastern FC.
