5. Kaká

The Ballon d'Or winner from 2007 has a history that is starkly different from the rest of the Brazilian superstars. However, unlike other Brazilian stars who had their fair share of struggles with poverty, homelessness and financial discrepancies, Kaká came from a financially affluent background. Kaká's father worked as a civil engineer and his mother was a teacher.

The former Champions League winner was amongst the most fearsome strikers in his prime. He has represented some of the top European clubs, like Inter Milan (2007-10), Manchester City (2010-13), AC Milan (2013-14), and Liverpool (2014-16). He also earned 36 caps for his national side and scored 14 goals. 

He didn't belong to a very rich family by birth. His biological parents were Ghanaian immigrants. He was adopted by Francesco and Silvia Balotelli, and they had a rich background.

Another Italian and World Cup winner, Andrea Pirlo, was once heard saying, 'I never talk about money.' His words can be justified by the fact that the defensive midfielder owned a vineyard long before he turned into a professional footballer. 2. Gerard Pique

The former World Cup winner Spanish defender Gerard Piqué comes from a very affluent family. The World Cup-winning French goalkeeper comes from a very rich family. His mother was a lawyer and his father was an investment banker. He is known to have had a lavish upbringing. He won the FIFA World Cup with France in 2018 but was denied his second by Lionel Messi's Argentina in 2022.
