Manchester United have kept their hopes for silverware this season alive after they progressed to the semi-finals of the UEFA Europa League. The Red Devils are looking to bolster their team ahead of the next season.

Manchester United to spend big for two super strikers

Manchester United's manager Ruben Amorim's admiration for Wolves Tiger is a known phenomenon. The former Sporting CP manager heaped praises for the Brazilian when he came face-to-face against United last year. He was also spotted having a conversation with the striker in the team tunnel at Old Trafford. Manchester United are reportedly in discussions with Wolves forward Matheus Cunha regarding a potential transfer to Old Trafford. The club needs to activate the Brazilian's £62.5 million release clause, and there is optimism that terms could be finalized by next month.

In addition to Matheus Cunha, the club is also maintaining close contact with another top striker, Victor Osimhen. According to reports from Tuttosport, discussions have taken place regarding Napoli's Osimhen. The club aims to pair these two strikers to bring havoc to their opposition.

Victor Osimhen, who has a transfer clause of €75 million, operates as a traditional number nine. His incredible poaching instincts, coupled with aerial prowess, make him a greater threat in the opposition box. Both Matheus Cunha and Victor Osimhen have been in sublime form this season. Matheus Cunha has netted 16 goals and assists for the Wolves across club competitions. Victor Osimhen has netted 29 goals this season for his Turkish side, Galatasaray.

Manchester United are looking to lay off Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Antony, Casemiro and Alejandro Garnacho in the next transfer window to make room for these two superstars.
