The Supercopa de Espana reached an electrifying climax this weekend with yet another edition of El Clasico, as Real Madrid faced off against Hansi Flick’s Barcelona at the King Abdullah Sports City in Riyadh on Sunday. This match was a pivotal encounter that had everyone on the edge of their seats.
Real Madrid delivered a strong performance against Mallorca, winning 3-0 in the semifinals, which reflected their form under Carlo Ancelotti as they entered a crucial stage of the season.

Barcelona appeared urgent in their efforts to hit the equaliser as they promoted back-to-back saves from Real Madrid goalkeeper Courtious.

After capitalising on a misstep by Rudiger, Barcelona regained possession. Yamal exhibited remarkable composure as he manoeuvred into the box, expertly finding a narrow opening to score past Courtois with a shot that struck the right post.
Barcelona roared back into the game with two more quickfire goals. Veteran striker Robert Lewandowski scored from a penalty in the 36th minute. Moments later, Catalan skipper Raphina found the net in the 39th minute.
Kounde delivered a well-placed cross into the box from the right side. Although three Madrid defenders were nearby, they didn't notice Raphinha making his run. Raphinha took advantage of the opportunity and directed a strong header to the right of Courtois, finding the back of the net.
