WATCH: Mavi responds to ScoutOP on recent BGMI controversy

A few weeks back, BGMI fans saw former IGL for Global Esports Mavi and the owner of Team XSpark ScoutOP get into a heated argument. Scout responded to a statement made by Mavi to which fans saw him respond during his recent livestream. Addressing all the statements made, he explained his side to the fans.

The controversy started after Mavi responded to a hater, but unfortunately, ScoutOP believed that the jab was directed at him. This is because at the time, ScoutOP received a lot of criticism and the timing of Mavi’s tweet made it seem like he was also among the people.

This started a long argument between former teammates during the early days of BGMI, as per Mavi, he cleared everything in the stream. Although fans might see another response from ScoutOP which may drag the issue a bit longer.

‘We were never buddies,’ Mavi explains

Fans were grieving that Mavi x Scout was no more, to which he responded saying this was never the case. During his time in OR, both players were chummy but more recently, he had previously said that nothing is settled between them.

Mavi also confessed that his biggest mistake was thinking of Scout as a brother and comparing him to a bad apple that holds back others. This came after Scout talked about his time in OR Esports, calling every one of his past teammates ‘ch***iya’.

At the time, ScoutOP made a few tweets regarding the matter, calling out that Mavi was among the people he helped get in the good books of the public. Mavi talked about the time Scout helped him start his YouTube channel but also revealed the first raid was done by Jonathan, who he was not able to thank as both Scout and Jonathan were in a fight.

While Mavi has explained his side of the story, fans will likely see more responses from ScoutOP. Even if there isn't one, this remains one of the biggest BGMI controversies for this year.
