After what feels like one of the most dominating matches, Jafonso and PHzin have managed to show their prowess and taken down their opponents. Both players have now secured their spot into the semifinals and are one-step closer to lifting the FC24 Esports World Cup trophy.

Jafonso have managed to bring his dominant performance from Group stages into the Playoff, taking down his opponents with a huge margin. While the goal difference may not matter now, giving their best is a must, and that is what Jafonso did in the opening game.

Going against Manu Bachoore, Jafonso kept up the pressure since the very beginning of the game with a three goal lead. It was only a few minutes before Manu Bachoore managed to secure his first goal and went on to secure another to close the gap.

The pressure was back on Jafonso who managed it pretty well and quickly gained back the lead upon his opponent. Jafonso did not let his opponent score a single goal afterwards and closed the quarter-final with a 6-2 scoreline to move into the semifinal.

PHzin takes his game to the next level

If you think Jafonso’s 6-2 scoreline was dominating, PHzin managed to output an even better performance, defeating his opponent with a 5-0 scoreline. The unlucky player on the receiving end here is Mark11, who barely survived the Group Stage.

The first half saw PHzin take it a bit slow with only two goals, however, Mark11 did not manage to catch up, hoping for an opening in the second half. Sadly, that did not happen as PHzin ramped up his game, securing another three goals, leaving Mark11 on the sidelines.

Pouring out one of the best performances, both PHzin and Jafonso will now meet each other in the semifinals to face each other for a chance to reach the Grand Final. However, before these two lock horns, two more plates will also be making their way into the semis.
