The mad lad has now gone and done it. João "jafonso" Vasconcelos have managed to secure all three games of second day for the FC24 Esports World Cup after an insane comeback against AbuMakkah in Round 6 of Group A.
Jafonso who was trailing 1-4 for more than half of the game managed to make an insane comeback. Prior to that, things did not look great for jafonso as he wasn’t able to secure even a single goal. However, with the first goal in the bag, a steady comeback class was in session.

Following a swift corner penalty, jafonso managed to equalize the sore to push the game into overtime. Both jafonso and AbuMakkah were doing their best to secure the first goal and take the upper hand. At the 117-minute mark, jafonso secure the fifth goal to take the lead.
With that, the endgame counter started for AbuMakkah, however, not only did his opponent managed to defend, jafonso went ahead to secure another goal to end the game and finally realize the Day 1 ambition of secure all three games.

Group A concludes Day 2 for FC Esports World Cup
While jafonso and AbuMakkah were stuck in a heated battle, all other in Group A had already concluded their third game. Jonny managed to take down Young to secure his second victory. Day 2 had been by the most successful day for him. On the other hand, Emre Yilmaz took down Levi de Weerd after the previous defeat.
Web Nasri saw another loss by the hands of Mark11 to close the second day of Group A. One more round will decide the fate of all players and reveal who will be moving forward to the Playoffs while who will move to the Resurrection Stage.
